Wednesday Pre-Teen Bible Class

Here are some photos from my Wednesday pre-teen class. We had a lesson on John 12:26-28 regarding what it means to put Christ first. We discussed what Jesus meant by "losing your life" and "hating your brother" as it relates to putting Him first in our lives.

Our first activity was making a ski cap using duct tape. I placed a ski hat (on clearance at Wal Mart for 25 cents each!!) and the children took duct tape (sticky side out) and made the caps as pictured.

Thew children then rolled in the floor to see how amny spoons they could get to stick.

We counted the spoons-- Canyon's team won with 28 spoons.

We also did a clay activity to illustrate how things change-- it is too long to go into here, but it lead into our lesson appropriately.

I normally have 25-30 pre-teens each Wednesday. They are a joy to teach-- we have lot of fun together.
