Combined Life Groups Meet

The Life Groups had a nice get-together Sunday after evening services. We got joined as one group in order to write notes of encouragement to some of our members who have been absent from services for an extended period of time. We hope, by writing these notes, they might be spiritually enriched. I know we were!

Congratulations, Ed Baker!

One of our elders, Ed Baker, was honored Sunday afternoon, as the winter youth basketball program was ending. Ed has worked very hard over the past five years to make the program work so smoothly. More than 1,000 children have played over the five years, and Ed has been in charge of organizing the program, which includes lining up the coaches, organizing teams, and even doing the clean-up!

Ed was honored with a painting, created by Debbie Wall.

Thanks, Ed, for all you do around Main Street!!

Busy night-- our Life Groups prepared the food and our youth served and cleanup up. Our entrees tonight were Spicy Spaghetti, Three-Cheese Lasagna, and Mushroom Pizza. We also had appetizers: bagel pizzas, breadsticks, salad, and lots of desserts.
