Youth Lock-In Part One

On Friday, December 14, Main Street hosted it's annual Lock-In to benefit Angel Tree, a local program that provided presents for disadvantaged children in Lawrence County. All told, we raised $620 that provided presents for 25 children. We had more than 40 area children participate in the lock-in. We had a devo, singing, food, an around town scavenger hunt, midnight bowling, and lots of fun and fellowship.

The cars are exiting for the scavenger hunt-- the children had to go to a number of places around town and complete tasks (like "The Amazing Race" on TV) and come back and solve clues to find the ultimate prize.
The winning group in the scavenger hunt completed all their tasks first. Congrats to chaueffer Julie Adamson and her crew!
Chris Wall and Derek Farrer helped to chaperone.

Chris after a long night. The lock-in began at 8 pm and lasted until 7 am the next morning!

Another group for the scavenger hunt-- Tucker Hurst with his mom.

The whole group during our devotional time.

Amber, Chastity, Derek, and Justin observe the devotional.

A BIG thanks to Travis, from Imboden Church of Christ, who led our singing.
