Main Street/ Hoxie Teens Meet

The teens from Hoxie Church of Christ met with some of our teens after church Wednesday night for a "Rock Band" Wii competition. For all those familiar with video games, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Matthew Mitchell

Our new youth minister, Matt Mitchell, made a surprise visit Sunday with his girlfriend, Addie. They spent the day with us and visited the Coker's anniversary party and mingled at VBS. Matt will start with us this week. Be sure and come and meet him next Sunday!

Vacation Bible School DAY 1

We had 216 present for Day 1~` Sunday night of VBS. Thanks to the Stormes' family for cooking-- and you can see how much they had to cook!! We are going to have a fantastic VBS. Come and see... we will continue nightly through Wed.

Vacation Bible School Day 2

VBS Day 2~~ we had 230 present. The children would begin each night with singing and a skit, followed by more singing and a lesson. The children were divided by age and had crafts relating to the skit each evening. The adults also had a class of their own in the auditorium. We also fed everyone each evening, prior to VBS. Thanks to the brethren at Hoxie for helping and making this a great success. We had many children from the community who participated.
