Our first stop was the ASU Museum with our Summer Program kids. We had 27 children attend, along with adult volunteers. The kids had a great time exploring the museum. They even had an opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt.
Lots of hands-on activities kept them running around and busy

Zach plays in the gym - our gym normally opens @ 5pm for play, followed by a meal and then Bible class.
Cliff "entertains" Zach and Ashlei before the dinner starts
A typical Wednesday evening meal at Main Street. It is free to anyone who comes. We have many children and adults who attend. This week's menu: BBQ sandwiches, Hamburger Macaroni, hamburgers, baked beans, corn, salad and dessert.
After supper, we have a devotional time from 6:45pm-7:00pm-- here Cliff leads songs with some of our young men who will later lead songs in our church invitation time @ 7:45pm in our auditorium.

The teen class
In the pre-teen class, I started the lesson with having a "Hot Potato Game." It is too long to explain here, but the "winners" had to eat a spoonful of baby food (Our lesson was on Persuasion, Good and Bad). Above you'll notice Amber actually enjoying her baby food. Rumor has it that she ate the whole thing!
Jordan is not enjoying his-- I think it was Beef and Apple
Derek checks over his baby food before he consumes it-- everyone loves chicken and peas!
Tristan gets mac and cheese. (It sounds better than it tasted!)

We discussed some important Bible scriptures about persuading others in a positive way to learn more about Christ. We also discussed negative ways people try to persuade us (or influence us) to do wrong.
We always enjoy every day at Main St. Church of Christ. Come and visit Sunday and see what you're missing!
