We had more than 75 area children ages kindergarten through sixth grade involved in our summer-long youth program. Basically, we operated a summer Vacation Bible School that lasted the whole summer! Jake Brownfield, our summer intern, along with Ed Baker, Chris Wall, Rob Combs, and Sandy Gibson, along with help from our teenagers and other members, offered this program to our area kids. The program included organized sports, singing, Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, and breakfast program. We also had field trips to places of local interest.
