Fall Festival Fun

Wednesday, Oct. 31 we had our annual Fall Festival. We had more than 250 in attendance for the fun and fellowship, which included a free chili supper served to the community. We estimated at least 150 children from the area enjoyed the games, food, and fun!

Here are some of the decorated pumpkins children painted. There were many unique designs.

One of our elders, Ed Baker, who along with Chastity Colburn, were helping supervise the activities in the church gym.
Rebecca Easton, Jeri Poole, and Hailey Fowler pass out candy to area children who were trick-or-treating in the downtown area.
Our youth minister, Kyle Smelser, presented a Bible devotional to children, which included pumpkin carving.
Do they look scary? No... they look friendly! Laura Combs and Jacob Colburn ended up winning the costume contest later in the evening.

Some of the costumes from the night.

One of the three bounce houses in the gym. The children lined up and went in over and over! This one was a new one-- it was a maze!

Martha Coker and Naomi and Dan Mullen enjoy the chili supper. We had over a dozen different kinds of chili-- including deer chili, white chili, chicken chili, and just plain chili! Martha took most of these pictures (well, not this one, because she is in it!) Thanks for sharing!
