Family and Youth Retreat?
Our Family and Youth Retreat planned for next weekend (June 25-27) is a unique opportunity to bring our young people together, to have lots of fun, and to form a stronger bond of friendship with our Christian family. If you have not signed up, I hope you will consider joining us—either for the weekend, or perhaps on Saturday.
Our theme for the weekend is “Seasoning Your Surroundings” based on Matthew 5:13. We have activities planned for the entire family, whether you have children or not. We have rented a large cabin at the Beach Club at Hardy and we have arranged spiritual activities, such as Bible classes, devotionals, and song services that will spiritually uplift you. We have also planned family-building activities that will help us to get to know one another better. Is this retreat only for the kids? Absolutely not. It is for our whole Christian family!
Won’t you take hold of this opportunity for personal growth and join us this weekend? Will you take one weekend out of the summer to concentrate on spiritual values? Can’t you use this time to build new friendships with your brothers and sisters in Christ? We need you and your family. Make it a priority to join us and get spiritually energized.
We desperately need our families at Main Street to become more involved in the youth activities that are offered. Please consider attending and together we will grow as a Christian family here at Main Street.
